AccutaseLZ is a lyophilized version of our Accutase, cell detachment solution. AccutaseLZ is reconstituted with distilled H2O. No other ingredients need be added. Once reconstituted and sterile filtered, the Accutase is ready to use as a non-mammalian, non-bacterial replacement for all applications of trypsin. Accutase has both proteolytic and collagenolytic activity. Cells left in Accutase for a few hours will remain intact and viable. It is not necessary to wash out or neutralize the Accutase.
