51-40S051, Fluid Thioglycollate Medium. MOLTOX® offers a wide variety of prepared culture media for various applications including environmental sampling, isolation, differentiation and enumeration of organisms, sterility and more. Fluid Thioglycollate Medium (FTM) contains a small amount of agar and several reducing agents which detects the presence of anaerobic bacteria in sterility testing. This medium is recommended by the FDA and in the USP for use in sterility confirmation. Strict anaerobes tend to grow in the upper oxidized layer portion of the broth. PREPARED CULTURE MEDIA.
