Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (SARS) caused the outbreak at 2002-2004 with over 8,000 people infection and 774 deaths. A rapid and effective assay kit detecting the levels of anti-SARS Spike in human serum can facilitate research on antibodies produced in response to SARS infection or vaccines.

These kits were tested to bind to monoclonal antibodies in IgA format (Cat. No. Q74F36), see figures.

This kit is developed for serologic test for human IgA titer of Anti-SARS Spike antibody from serum/plasma or other tissues (e.g. mucosal samples) in vitro. It is for research use only. Antibodies of IgM and IgA class are a sign of an active infection (primary infection and reactivation) and disappear during convalescence. In some cases they can persist for several months.
