Pseudorabies virus (PRV) belongs to the Herpesviridae family, and is an important veterinary pathogen of domestic pigs. A rapid and effective assay kit detecting the levels of anti-PRV envelope protein in pig serum can facilitate research on antibodies produced in response to PRV infection or vaccines.

This kit was tested to bind to convalescent swine sera (n = 20) with sensitivity of 90%, specificity of 100% and Cohen's kappa of 0.9 for PRV gB protein.

This kit is developed for serologic test for swine IgG titer of anti-PRV envelope gB in serum/plasma or purified swine antibody (monoclonal & polyclonal) in vitro.
