Porcine parvovirus (PPV) is a DNA virus that causes reproductive failure in gilts and sows, resulting in embryonic and fetal losses worldwide. A rapid and effective assay kit detecting the levels of anti-PPV structural protein in pig serum can facilitate research on antibodies produced in response to PPV infection or vaccines.

This kit was tested to bind to convalescent swine sera (n = 3) with sensitivity of 80%, specificity of 92% and Cohen's kappa of 0.85 for PPV VP2 protein.

This kit is developed for serologic test for swine IgG titer of anti-PPV structural protein VP2 in serum/plasma or purified swine antibody (monoclonal & polyclonal) in vitro.
