PlexPCR® HSV-1&2, VZV For LightCycler® 480 Instrument II
The PlexPCR® HSV-1&2, VZV kit simultaneously detects and differentiates Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1), Herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2) and Varicella zoster virus (VZV) nucleic acids isolated and purified from cutaneous or mucocutaneous lesion swab specimen.
The PlexPCR® HSV-1&2, VZV kit simultaneously detects and differentiates Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1), Herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2) and Varicella zoster virus (VZV) nucleic acids isolated and purified from cutaneous or mucocutaneous lesion swab specimens. It is a single well, multiplex real-time PCR (qPCR) assay and also contains a heterologous extrinsic control to monitor extraction efficiency and qPCR inhibition. The panel utilises PlexZymes® for specificity and superior multiplexing capability. The assay has been validated for use with samples extracted using the MagNA Pure 96 System (Roche) and real-time detection on the LightCycler® 480 Instrument II (LC480 II) (Roche).

Storage & stability: Expiry dates are stated on the labels. Excessive freeze/thawing is not recommended. Store protected from light at – 20°C.
