This antibody is obtained by immunizing mice with highly purified recombinant H. pylori Flagellin A (FLaA) produced in genetically engineered E.coli cells. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

This antibody recognizes recombinant H. pylori FlaA and it has cross reactivity with purified recombinant H. pylori FlaB. It can be used in ELISA assay (1: 4,000 dilution) and Western blot (1: 2,000 dilution). H. pylori flagellin is composed of two subunits FlaA (52 kDa) and FlaB (54 kDa), FlaA is the major component of flagellar filaments. Both FlaA and FlaB are responsible for bacterial motility and they are required for bacterial colonization and H. pylori survival in the stomach mucus.

Solution in 0.5 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
