OmniMark 1K (BH OneMARK B Plus) is a DNA ladder, prestained with one of the most sensitive fluorescent dyes. The ladder is supplied in a ready-to-use format containing the fluorescent DNA stain and tracking dyes, and optimized for direct loading onto unstained agarose gels. Furthermore, it provides the highest level of convenience during the routine handling and avoids commonly used gel staining procedures with the ethidium bromide or SYBR® Green I. Please note, users need to use a DNA stain of preference when conducting PCR but not to be added to the ladder. The OmniMark 1K (BH OneMARK B Plus) includes fragments ranging from 100-10,000 base pairs. The 1K and 3K bands have increased intensity to serve as reference points. The approximate mass of DNA in each band is provided (0.5 μg per loading) for approximating the mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size. Source : PCR products and double-stranded DNA digested with appropriate restriction enzymes, are phenol extracted and equilibrated to 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0) and 10 mM EDTA.
