Fibrillarin is found in small nuclear ribonucleoprotein particles (snRNP) of the nucleolus suggesting a role in the maintenance, structure, function, assembly or processing of tRNA and/or rRNA. This protein is highly conserved and this antibody is capable of detecting fibrillarin from diverse sources such as mammals, Drosophila, C. elegans, yeast and plants.

APPLICATIONS/DILUTIONS:ICC/IF (1/500 – 1/2,500 for yeast; 1/250 – 1/2,500 for mammalian cells) WB (1/1,000 – 1/5,000 for yeast extracts; 1/250 – 1/2500 for mammalian extracts)

SOURCE:Mice were immunized with yeast nuclear protein preparations and hybridomas were screened against yeast cells (IF) and yeast protein homogenates (WB).

FORM/STORAGE: 0.2 ml with 50% glycerol, sodium azide and 1.0 mg/ml BSA. Store at -20º C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Immunoglobulin isotype is IgG1.
