Serim® DISINTEK™ GTA 1.5% Test Strips provide a convenient means of testing potency, (concentration) of select reusable glutaraldehyde (GTA) solutions used in high-level disinfection. Serim DISINTEK GTA 1.5% Test Strips are used to determine whether the glutaraldehyde concentration is above or at/below the Minimum Effective Concentration (MEC) of 1.5% for the following high-level disinfectants:CIDEX® Activated Dialdehyde Solution;MetriCide® 14-day Sterilizing & Disinfecting Solution
Test Range：
The color developed on the Serim DISINTEK GTA 1.5% Test Strip indicator pad indicates whether the concentration of glutaraldehyde in the disinfectant solution is above or at/below the MEC of 1.5%. PASS - any shade of purple color on the indicator pad; shades of both light and dark purple on the pad are acceptable. FAIL - appearance of any white on the indicator pad means that the solution is ineffective and should be discarded.
