Visikol HISTO enables researchers to visualize biological tissues in three dimensions by combining tissue clearing with fluorescent proteins and/or immunofluorescence. This non-destructive technology preserves tissue integrity and native structure while streamlining the clearing and imaging workflow. Its ease of use makes advanced 3D tissue visualization more accessible for a wide range of research applications.
Visikol HISTO-M is a tissue clearing solution specifically designed for 3D cell culture models and plate-based high-throughput processing. When used together with fluorescent markers such as fluorescent proteins, immunofluorescence labels, or chemical dyes, and paired with high-content confocal microscopy, it enables full 3D characterization of cell culture models and supports more accurate drug screening and analysis.
Visikol® for Plant Biology™ is designed as a direct replacement for Hertwig’s solution for clearing plant tissues for microscopic examination. One 100 mL bottle of Visikol can clear plant tissues on up to 500 microscope slides. This solution improves the efficiency of plant tissue clearing, simplifies experimental workflows, and supports a wide range of plant biology research applications.
In addition to liver models, HUREL offers a range of in vitro and 3D cell culture assay services, including high-content screening, blood-brain barrier permeability studies, cell proliferation assays, cancer-related assays such as antiproliferation, cytotoxicity, and immune cell infiltration, as well as toxicity and safety assessment services including liver toxicity, steatosis, phospholipidosis, cell viability, cytotoxicity, and wound healing assays.
