The TSKgel™ brand was introduced in 1972, pioneering the use of H-type polymer columns for the analysis of organic-soluble polymers. In the late 1970s, Tosoh expanded gel filtration solutions for water-soluble polymers with the PW series, and launched the SW series as a breakthrough in high-performance gel filtration. The SW series later became widely recognized in biotechnology applications—especially for protein molecular-weight and size analysis.
