The antibody recognizes an epitope located in the Vλ2315 domain that is also expressed on λ1 and λ3 chains. 

There is no cross-reactivity with the mouse κ light chain. The antibody binds isolated chains and complete 

immunoglobulins of both normal serum and myeloma proteins. In addition, this antibody is easily purified on protein 

G immunosorbents and may be biotinylated or FITC-conjugated without loss of binding capacity.
